Used MS Paint 2007. 2 colors (black and white) Tools: Spray tool'd in the legs and scythe, then used the line tool to sharpen the look. Copyright Emmanuel Hall 2013 The original file is over 18000 pixels wide and cannot be uploaded at that size. All you get is a reduced quality sample.
This is the Version 3 of the Harvester of Souls. At this point I extended the legs in full and added a scythe that appears on a playmat illustration I did for card gamers.
I am aware that the background is rather lacking, and I will update it in the future.
Amazing pixel art, one of the best made with Ms Paint I ever seen... And I know what I'm talking about as I also use this basic software to try to challenge myself. You might have a look to my gallery...if you got time. Cheers MadManny.
It's like the caveman who figured out that grounded flowers make ink for cave paintings. The tool itself sucks balls but the longer you do things the better shit gets.
I can proudly say, that this is the BEST paint picture I have ever seen. Ever. And I doubt I will ever see a beauty like this in the future. Not only the details are fantastic, but the dark topic as well. Insta fav'ed and linked to friends - I simply MUST share this masterpiece. This picture actually had made me very happy. I am a metalhead myself, and to see, how someone so carefully crafted this monstrous deathbringer, such a delight to eyes, makes me feel so warm inside. Seriously, all these details... I simply can't stop staring at this. Congratulations on creating your Magnum Opus and getting a DD! SO deserved!

...aaand a gazillion years later, Photoshop happened.
It must have taken days, maybe even weeks to do this :0

I made someone feel warm inside. Now I'm warm inside too!
